Top 5 Famous Aliens

Famous celebrity aliens. They can be fictional or nonfictional (if you happen to know something...) My only rule is to eliminate human looking aliens. The lines would become to gray as to what is and isn't an alien; therefore, Superman, Mork, or the characters from 3rd Rock from The Sun have been ruled illegal. The famous alien has to look like an alien. Also, you will not find Alf or Howard the Duck on my list. They have no place near the top 5.

Honorable Mentions:
Spock, yeah he looks pretty human, so I kept him off the top 5, but technically he does have pointy ears.
Barf, or Barfollomew, from Spaceballs
Optimus Prime, believe it or not, he is an alien. He justs conveniently takes the shape of Ford Truck.
Alien, from the Alien series of movies
The Predator, crab-faced martian from the same-named movies.

5. Stitch, from Lilo and Stitch, not as famous as some, but he is an awesome little hawaiian bugger.

4. Chewbacca, "Would somebody please get this walking carpet out of my way?"

3. Marvin the Martian, Best Looney Tune character in my opinion. So he wants to destroy Earth. No hard feelings.

2. E.T, the Extra Terrestrial! How much more alien can you get. Plus he fixes ouchies, has a glowing heart, and can make bicycles fly. Every kid's fantasy friend.

1. Yoda, The ultimate little green man from outer space.

Top 5 Famous Ed's

Top 5 famous Ed's

Famous Ed, Eddie's Edwards. They must be nonfictional here, so fictional talking horses here. I did not include Edgars here, otherwise Mr. Allen Poe would be #1.

Honorable Mentions:
Edward G. Robinson
Ed Sullivan (I just don't know enough about 'em really)
Eddie Van Halen
Ed Harris
Ed McMahon

5. Edward R. Murrow-Gotta kinda put him here. He is kinda the embodiment of entertainment morals. He helped to expose McCarthy with his groundbreaking news coverage.

4. Eddie Murphy-Yes, most of his movies suck now, but he is still responsible for many laughs

3. Edward Norton-One of my favorite actors. Please don't be offended by the above photo. The movie it is from, American History X, is anti-racism.

2. Eddie Izzard-One of the funniest men on Earth. I also learned more European history from him than my high school teacher. Sorry Mrs. Williams.

1. Eddie Vedder-Pearl Jam's lead singer. He changed my life, yeah I said it. Changed My Life

Why top 5

Alright, I am absolutely terrible with favorites. I don't have a favorite movie, band, song or actor. I just don't. There are several reasons for this:

1. I guess I feel "favorites" lock people into a commitment to something. Once you have a favorite something, it is hard to change it. I change my opinions too often and my favorites would be changing each year.
2. I feel it is hard to compare things in too broad of a spectrum. I can't tell you if Princess Bride or American History X is a better movie, or if Santeria is a better song than the Star Wars theme, or if Jack Black is more my favorite than Edward Norton. They are all vastly different things trying to accomplish vastly different goals
3. Also, most people equate "favorite" with BEST. I do not. I don't think you'll get any argument if you say that the Led Zeppelin are a better band than Modest Mouse, but who do I choose to listen to more? Modest Mouse. I would say Modest Mouse is more my favorite band than Led Zeppelin right now, although I clearly recognize Led Zeppelin as the far superior band,

SO...
4.All this being said, I have no problems with favorites, I am just bad at them and I don't feel the need to have favorites to define me, personally. I DO have other favorites, they are just more specific than band or movie or whatnot.
THEREFORE...
5. I propose some fun. I am going to make Top 5 lists (yes, like the dude from High Fidelity, lame as the movie was) but I am not going to make them about important things. They will be random Top 5's that strike my fancy.
Let the fun ensue...
